The Employer Strategy Forum (ESF)
The Employer Strategy Forum, set up by e-skills UK, is chartered to clarify employers' requirements for graduates entering the workforce.
The ESF works with universities to develop curricula and qualifications from which thousands of easily deployable, work-ready graduates with professional life skills will be entering the IT sector by September 2009.
The ESF comprises of representatives from the following companies;
BA , BBC , BT , CA , The Cabinet Office , Cisco , Deloitte , Ford , Fujitsu , HP , IBM , ITV, Lehman Brothers , Logica, The Met Office , Micro Focus, Morgan Stanley , Network Rail, Norwich Union , P&G, Royal Bank of Scotland , Sainsbury's , SAS, Southampton City Council , Symantec and Unilever.
Throughout the Degree, representatives from the supporting companies go into the universities to share their experience, in the form of Guru Lectures.
Some of the ESF members offer graduate recruitment schemes. These can give you an idea of the kind of role that a successful ITMB student could progress into.
